Treetop colour guard
May is Bird Festival month in Prince Edward County, Ontario, when diverse species migrate northward across Lake Ontario and hit the first landfall on PEC shores. Many nest in maple woodlands like this Northern oriole, also known as the Baltimore oriole. Birdwatchers flock here too and participate in the annual 24-hour Baillie Birdathon: https://www.gifttool.com/athon/MyFundraisingPage?ID=1914&AID=1845&PID=286228
